Yahel Shoham

Yahel, 3, and her family were taken hostage by Hamas terrorists during an attack on Kibbutz Be’eri. The family's ordeal began when Hamas gunmen attacked their home, forcing them outside before taking them captive. This included her mother Adi along with her father Tal, her brother Naveh, and other family members. Feared dead, it was later discovered that they were held hostage in Gaza, where they endured 53 days of captivity before Adi and her two children Naveh and Yahel were released on November 25th.

Her father, Tal Shoham, was held separately in Gaza and remains in captivity.
