Stav went to the Nova festival with her close friend, Eden Gaz. They abandoned their car as they tried to escape the scene, but were gunned down on the side of the road as they fled on foot.

Stav, who lived in Ashkelon, was training to be a lawyer. A single mother to daughter Neve and son Reef, she always made sure they didn't lack anything.

Tom, her friend, wrote on Instagram: "You are the biggest heart I know, the best and most amazing friend, my ray of light, you are a part of me. Thank you for every moment by your side, for the company you were, for the warm words at every opportunity, the advice that was always the most accurate for me, the patience and listening at any time and anywhere, you were always there for me for everything! In every conversation with you, I knew that only you could put my thoughts in order, you always made me feel that we were the best and no one could beat us because you were one of a kind!"
