Shoval Yaakov

Age 27

Shoval, from Mehola, arrived at Nova excited to assist a friend with decorations and partake in the festivities.
When Hamas terrorists descended on the scene, he and a few of his friends tried to hide in the festival complex, but were unfortunately discovered and murdered.

Shoval left behind his parents, three sisters, a brother, and his girlfriend Noam. Shoval and Noam had aspirations of marriage and future travels together.

"Shoval was deeply committed to his family and friends, always displaying loyalty and a gentle heart," shared his mother, Meirav. Water farming was his passion. Shuval was a basketball player in the Jordan Valley League, known for his punctuality as he always arrived at the hall half an hour before the rest of the team. It was common to see him with a "Nobles" cigarette between his lips.

Four days after the attacks, Shoval's body was found on October 11th.
