Limor Vaknin Permuter

Limor was a mother of 3 children. When alarms first sounded, she was among the many who hid in an outside shelter, believing they'd be protected from missiles. The small shelter tragically became a death trap. When terrorists arrived, they launched grenades and shot at all those inside.

Limor was badly injured, writing to her family in her last moments: “everyone is dead in here. I am bleeding to death.” Through her embrace, Limor shielded a young woman named Alina, ensuring her survival. Limor’s body was found a week after the attack and she was buried in her home town of Beersheba on October 15th, 2024.

An accountant by profession, Limor had a fondness for numbers yet reveled in the splendor of nature's gatherings. In recent times, she forged profound bonds with various retreats, women's circles, and numerous lively and pulsating environments.
