Hezi Hanom

Age 32

Hezi, from Petach Tikva, was at the Nova festival on October 7th when Hamas terrorists attacked.

Hezi's sister shared: "Hezi was incredibly giving and a staunch advocate for free love. He lived life on his terms, unabashedly ignoring any criticism directed his way. He took immense pride in his family, often referring to his brothers affectionately as 'My beautiful sister' or 'My wise sister.' It was a habit of his to introduce them proudly, proclaiming, 'It's really my brother.' His bond with his sister was unbreakable. Following his disappearance for a week after the Badi party, his sister sensed immediately that he was no longer among the living. He resided with his mother, dedicating himself to her every need and desire, guarding her tirelessly. Around the Shabbat table, he never failed to compliment his mother on her cooking and express gratitude for her efforts. On the morning of his funeral, a multitude of people arrived bearing food and gifts. These were individuals from the neighborhoods where Hezi worked as a postman. Their presence underscored the personal connections Hezi had cultivated throughout his life.
