Eden Naftali

From Rishon Letzion, Eden was murdered alongside her boyfriend, Idan Herman, while attending the Nova festival.

Naftali was in the final stages of completing her degree in communications at the College of Management in Jerusalem. She also contributed to the popular gossip social media account “Israel Bidur.” As per a statement from the Rishon Lezion municipality, Naftali was a dedicated volunteer for many years. Her family affectionately referred to her as "the ‘princess’ of their household, radiating beauty and kindness with a smile that warmed the hearts of all who knew her."

For more than a week following the October 7 attack, her family and friends anxiously awaited any updates before being tragically informed of her death. Her friend, Hila Bilu posted on Instagram, “How will I move forward in life without you next to me?” she wrote. “How will I keep going with the knowledge that you’re no longer with me and helping me every step of the way? How can it be that you were at the peak of your life and they cut it short like this? How can I and everyone who’s ever loved you live with the fact that we’ll never see your smile again?”
