Eden Gaz

Eden, along with her friend Stav, tried escaping the massacre, even finding policemen at one point who instructed them to keep driving and not to stop. Sadly, their bodies were eventually found the following day, having been gunned down on the side of the road.

Eden's friend Lior Sofer said in a tribute, “Your smile would never leave your face even if you were nervous you would smile. Watch over us from above!". Another friend, Daniel Tamir wrote: "How much I loved you! How much I prayed for you! You did not deserve it! How much joy of life was in you! Every place you were in you brought life to it. God, my heart burns for you, Eden. May God restore your blood.”

All her friends agreed that Eden’s favorite saying was, "Someone knows what I'm going through". Her smile and empathy made her the undisputed queen of Ashkelon and it is clear she will be missed.
