Ori Danino

Age 24 when abducted

Ori Danino, 25, is presumed to have been abducted to Gaza from the site of the Nova music festival on October 7th.

Ori Danino's actions on that day showcased his bravery and selflessness. Initially escaping from the Nova music festival, he made the courageous decision to return to the scene to rescue more people before falling victim to abduction by Hamas terrorists.

Together with a friend, Danino left the party in separate vehicles, aiming to help as many people escape the violent Hamas attack as possible. His commitment to saving lives led him to request the phone number of individuals they had just met at the party from his friend, stating that he intended to go back and save them. Unfortunately, this was the last communication his friend had with him.

Another friend named Liel called Danino at 8:34 a.m., and he told her that he was driving "like a psycopath" and that they would talk later. Tragically, the three individuals Danino aimed to rescue were among those taken hostage in Gaza.

Ori Danino hails from an ultra-Orthodox family in Jerusalem and resides in Givat Zeev, located just outside the capital. He was engaged to be married in the same year he was abducted. Additionally, he is known to be a fan of the Beitar Jerusalem soccer club.
