Omer Neutra

Omer Neutra grew up in Long Island, New York. Omer was known for his athletic achievements during his high school years, where he excelled in basketball, volleyball, and soccer, often serving as the captain of his teams.

He is the grandson of Holocaust survivors and comes from a family with a strong connection to Israel. After spending a gap year in Israel in 2020, during which he developed a deep attachment to the country, he decided to join the IDF.

Tragically, Omer Neutra has been missing since October 7 while serving as a tank commander near Gaza. His parents, Ronen and Orna, made frantic efforts to contact him when they learned about the situation. However, they were unable to reach their son, and it is believed that he was taken captive by Hamas terrorists.
