Naama Levy

Naama Levy, 19, was at the beginning of her service for the Israel Defense Forces and was stationed at Nir Oz when she was abducted.

The horrifying footage of Naama Levy being abducted by Hamas terrorists, where she was seen terrified, bloodied, and pulled by the hair before being bundled into the back of a jeep, shocked the world. Her abduction quickly became a viral and harrowing image at the forefront of the Israel-Hamas war.

Naama Levy's mother, Ayelet Levy-Shachar, expressed the unbearable pain of witnessing her daughter in such a distressing situation. However, she wants the world to know her daughter beyond the awful footage. Naama is described as a determined and sporty girl who enjoys playing tennis, is a fan of American rock singer Pink, volunteered for pro-Palestinian charity, and dreamed of becoming a diplomat.
