Liri Albag

Liri Albag, an 18-year-old from Moshav Yarhiv, was abducted by Hamas on October 7.
Shortly after her abduction, four teenage girls including Liri were shown in a distressing Hamas propaganda video. In this video, they were seen lined up against a wall with their hands tied behind them. The visible signs of violence, such as dried blood on their faces, were deeply disturbing. A pre-captivity photo of Liri and her friends was displayed alongside their current condition, emphasizing the stark contrast and the suffering they had endured.
Liri's mother, Shira, last had contact with her daughter on the day of the abduction when Liri reported being in a field shelter under attack by Hamas rockets. The uncertainty and fear surrounding Liri's fate have taken a devastating toll on her family. Liri herself was described as a strong girl with an optimistic outlook on life, believing that "the world is beautiful" despite the dire circumstances she found herself in.
