Lior Rudaeff

Age 61 when abducted

Lior Rudaeff, 61, is a volunteer medic and ambulance driver who has been missing since early in the morning of October 7, during the Hamas terrorist attack on Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.

On that morning, Lior was preparing for a motorcycle ride to the Ramon Crater when he received a call from the kibbutz's emergency squad, requesting his assistance in protecting the community. Without hesitation, he joined the battle to defend the kibbutz from the attackers.

During the course of the events, Lior sent a message indicating that he had been injured. In this message, he expressed his love for his wife, Yaffa, and their four children. However, following this communication, all contact with him was lost.

Lior Rudaeff is hailed as a hero by his family, particularly his niece, Yael. Two years prior to the attack, Lior had suffered a significant heart attack. Given his medical condition, he relies on medications, which he likely did not have with him in Gaza.
