Evyatar David
Age 23 when abducted

On the morning of October 7, as sirens sounded in Israel due to incoming rocket attacks, Eviatar David was at the Nova music festival with a group of friends. He exchanged text messages with his family, informing them that the party was being closed down because of the security situation. However, at that time, his family was unaware of the grave danger that was unfolding.
As the situation escalated, news spread that Hamas terrorists had attacked the festival, shooting and killing partygoers. Tragically, one of David's friends who was with him at the party lost their life during the attack.
As David stopped answering his phone, his family grew increasingly worried. They desperately searched social media for any signs of his well-being. It was during this search that David's sister, Yeela, received a message from an unknown number containing a photo. The text indicated that David had been identified in a Hamas photo on Telegram.
Upon viewing the photo, the family confirmed that it was indeed Eviatar. The image showed him with his hands tied, standing alongside a Hamas terrorist holding a gun.
The Israeli army later verified David's captivity in Gaza. His family has endured an agonizing period of uncertainty and anguish, not knowing whether he is alive or well. Friends who survived the festival attack have visited the family, offering their support during this challenging time.
