Eden Yerushalmi

Age 24 when abducted

Eden Yerushalmi, a 24-year-old bartender from Tel Aviv, was abducted during Hamas' attack on the Nova music festival on October 7.

Eden's final moments of contact were preserved through phone conversations with her sisters, Shani and May, who stayed on the line with her during the ordeal. When the chaos and gunfire erupted at the festival, Eden reached out to her sisters in a state of panic. She was running for cover, trying to escape the violence.

Shani and May did their best to help Eden remain calm amidst the chaos. They provided support and guidance, even as she sought refuge in various hiding places, including thorny bushes and a car where her friends had tragically lost their lives. Eden's sisters urged her to keep breathing and stay as quiet as possible to avoid detection by the terrorists.

The sisters remained connected for an agonizing four hours, offering solace to Eden during her harrowing experience. However, the situation took a grim turn when they heard gunshots, and Eden cried out, "Shani, they caught me!" The phone call abruptly ended, leaving her fate uncertain.
