Daniela Gilboa

Daniella Gilboa, aged 19, was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists on October 7th during a devastating attack on Israel. On the morning of the assault, she was in contact with her family and had even sent videos to her boyfriend, showcasing her attire for the day. These videos later played a crucial role in her identification after Hamas released videos showing her and three other teenage girls, all taken hostage to Gaza.

Daniella is described as a pianist who aspired to become a musician. She was abducted from the Nahal Oz base, and identified in a Hamas video where Gilboa and several of her friends were taken by Hamas into Gaza.

In a subsequent video released by Hamas, the four young women were shown tied up and with visible signs of violence and injury. This horrifying incident occurred on October 7th when thousands of Hamas terrorists infiltrated the Gaza border into Israel, resulting in the deaths of many civilians, including over 360 people killed at an outdoor music festival. Numerous women were subjected to sexual abuse, and victims faced torture and mutilation.

Daniella family, along with the families of the other captives, have been living through a traumatic and agonizing ordeal, fearing for the safety and well-being of their loved ones. They have received some information about the captives from other hostages who were eventually freed, revealing that some of the girls were badly wounded and not receiving proper medical care.
